Mitsubishi A5M2 (Fine Molds 1/48)22 viewsThis is the 1/48 scale, Fine Molds kit of the Mitsubishi A5M2, Allied Code name: Claude. This airplane saw it’s introduction in China in the late 1930s. It was the first Japanese designed carrier-based fighter although many were land based. The late biplane fighters flown by the Chinese forces were no match for this one.

Water Tank (HO Scale)22 viewsThis is an HO scale, old timey water tank from a forgotten manufacturer. Bits
and bobs from the spares box. The cacti are from Woodland Scenics.

Scale wood was added to the interior of the tank and I replaced the
metal straps and turnbuckles around the exterior. Most of the dead
foliage is from my yard.

P-51H (RS Models 1/72)22 viewsNice kit and, as far as I know, the only decent 1/72 scale kit of the last version of the Mustang, the P-51H. Markings are for a Texas Air National Guard stationed at Brooks AFB in 1953. (I was a junior in high school!)
