Yak 3 (1/48 Eduard)85 viewsYak 3 of the Normandie Niemen squadron, a French group of volunteers who fought with the Russians during WWII. The kit is pretty much OOB except for some cockpit "enhancements" that you can't see very well.

Il-2m3 Sturmovik (1/72 Eduard)83 viewsThis is the 1/72 scale Eduard "Weekend Special" kit. Since only one set of decals come with the kit, that's what I used. There is no PE either. I substituted some plastic rod for gun barrels and a piece of brass wire for the pitot tube. This is a bargain kit in my opinion but probably more that one can handle in a "weekend."
